Build better connections with others?
Connection to others always starts with the self - with being truthful about, and valuing the things that light you up.
Eighteen months ago I was introduced to the ‘Personal Branding Code’, a terrific exercise created by the wonderful Colette Werden.
My personal brand code is ‘progressive, charismatic, mentor’… at first it felt edgy to share that, but the longer I play with it, it lands. And I experience a whole body ‘yes’ to my code when supporting clients to ‘see their possibilities and unlock their dreams’.
Shaping and owning ‘progressive, charismatic, mentor’ is much more energising for me than identifying as an employee of a global company, a job title, the football club I support, golf club I belong to or the fact that I’m a brother, son or father.
