Recognising your moments of playing the victim
Have you ever felt misunderstood, overwhelmed, worried, or believed you were trying hard but felt disorganised or distracted?
It can be difficult to own these experiences as a leader because we don’t typically associate these qualities with successful outcomes. However, We are human after all.
This week, the first thing a client shared was an enormous sense of being overwhelmed. Overwhelmed by the challenges they faced as they tried to balance their career with family commitments, financial pressures, and a desire for a healthier lifestyle. The overwhelm was creating anxiety and a desire to retreat.
At Conscious Uprising, we offer the first step to great leadership: Embrace your Conscious power, recognise your moments of being the victim, and lead as a creator.
Next time you hear yourself saying 'What don’t I want?’… shift your focus to ‘What do I want?’
Next time you don’t see a choice… let go and test yourself to be comfortable with the unknown.
When you hear yourself defend your belief… ask yourself to question those beliefs.
And next time you have a sense of scarcity… focus on the possibilities.
Reach out if you'd like to discuss further strategies for managing stress and embracing conscious leadership. We're here to support you on your journey.
